Open your finished design in Canva.

Click Share in the top right corner of the screen.

Click Download.

Select PDF in the File Type menu.

Select Print from the Presets options.

Select CMYK from the Colour Profile dropdown (if you can).

Select Crop Marks and Bleed in the Advanced Settings.

Click Download.
Important: Review your downloaded PDF as some of the colours have likely changed slightly when converted from RGB to CMYK. Colours on screens (RGB) often look brighter than printed ink (CMYK) because printing uses a smaller range of reproducible colours.

With a free Canva account, you will not be able to export your files in the CMYK colour profile. Most printers use CMYK instead of RGB.
Use a free online tool such as PDF2CMYK to convert your RGB file to the CMYK colour profile.

FILE SETUP GUIDE
Follow these guidelines to make sure your artwork prints exactly as intended.
Bleed
0.125" (1/16") on all sides.
Example: 3.5" × 2" finished → 3.75" × 2.25" file.
Safety Zone
Keep important content at least 0.0625" inside the cut line.
Cut Line
Final trimmed edge.
Tip: Export as PDF (Print), embed fonts, and keep images at 300 DPI where possible.
