Welcome to COT

COT is a 3rd generation, family-owned and operated, print communications company. Now in our 5th decade of service “The Culture of COT” is to seriously deliver the best customer experience possible within the markets we serve.

Operating out of our 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Newton, Christ Church, Barbados, COT produces a wide range of commercial, label and packaging products for our clients throughout the Caribbean.

Our service platform is built around our ability to harness the power of many forms of media and technologies and to apply them to our clients’ unique needs.

About Us

A brief

history of 

COT

1975

In 1975 in the basement of his home on COT road, Dennis Everard Worme had a handful of employees, a Heidelberg 10 x 15 single colour Windmill Letterpress Machine and a dream - COT Printery was born.

COT was formed under the family home at Cliff Cot, Cot Road, having acquired and salvaged equipment from a fire at The Barbados Advocate Newspaper

1979

Relocation to a 6,000 sq.ft building at Balmoraml Gap, Christ Church.

1981

The Ble Box Cart is born on COT's premisis in Balmoral Gap.

1985-87

1985 Installation of the first 4 color sheetfed Offset in Barbados.

1987 Installation of the first  5 color sheet fed press in Barbados.

1989

Recipient of the the BIDC Exporter of The Year Award.

1990

Relocation to a 16,000 sq.ft building at Newton Industrial Estate, Christ Church.

1994

Certified by The Crown Agent Stamp Bureau of Croydon to print Postage Stamps.

1996

Expansion of the Newton Facility to 24,000sq.ft.

1999

Acquisition of Caribbean Graphics, Letchworth Press & Printerman Operations  and entry into the packaging market.

2002

Expansion of the Newton Facility to 32,000 sq.ft.

2006

Installation of the first Mluti-color UV Offset Sheetfed Press in the region.

2014

Installation of the first HP Indigo 10,000, B2, Digital Press in the region.

2016

Introduction of printCloud, COT's online ordering platform for customers with repeat business.

2019

Ecotogo by COT, a fully recyclable and biogradable range of food boxes was introduce to to combat styrafoam.

2023

Installation of the regions first 7 color plus coater, LED UV Press to expand the color gamut to our customers.

2024

Acquisition of Moore Paragon Caribbean Ltd., with offices in Grenada, St. Lucia & Trinidad.

2025

Celebrating 50 years of service to Barbados and the Caribbean.
